Once upon a time . . . tucked away behind the Military Street Drawbridge in Port Huron, Michigan, there was a very cool, eclectic shop called "By The Quay". There was art from Toronto, local art, an assortment of antiques and a great selection of architectual iron from New Orleans, which became our signature product. 	The Queen of Quay Street, a liver and white Dalmation named Silky, was the resident Marketing Manager. Silk evolved to her great reward in 2002, and so did the physical shop!
"By The Quay" is now exclusively online, operating out of an antique work in progress known as "The Boynton House," soon to be a bed & breakfast! The owners remain the same and so does the original mission statement:
