Since 1976, Donny Burton has been exploring artistic applications and multi uses of glass. Currently, deep carved glass has been his focus. His inventory of experience in hand beveling, leaded glass, and historic restoration of exquisite art glass represent other ongoing commissions. |
| Visits to the art lofts of New York City and Los Angeles in the mid 1970's were the influence responsible for Burton Studio becoming the unique artspace that it is today. The building, originally a horse barn, was the perfect medium for Donny's passionate streak for historic preservation. That passion, coupled with impressions from his travels, have transformed the building into an eclectic example of function and form. | ![]() |

BELOVED Donny Burton and long time friend and artist Steve Nordgren took on this commission which represents an Erte print titled BELOVED. Deep carved into plate glass, the beads you see in the photo consist of more than 5,000 individual carvings. The detail is so precise and exquisite, one can only appreciate it in person! |
