A mix of European influence and true Americana, this ironwork is becoming the perfect accent for interior design as well as stunning focal points for any garden. Like the streets of the French Quarter, the iron is timeless. Having a panel grace your walls or garden is like visiting a place in time and history.

Finishes

Pewter gray	New castings are pewter gray and will stay that way as long as they are not exposed to moisture. If you plan to hang them in a humid environment and want to keep the pewter color, seal them with a matte polyurethane product to prevent them from rusting.
Rust	Simply spray with water and within hours you will see hues of gold and brown as it rusts, taking on the appearance of an artifact.
Paint	Rustproof paint is an excellent and necessary primer. Then you can paint whatever color your décor demands.
Patina	Apply one coat of any flat black rust inhibiting paint (like Rustoleum) for a base. Dilute teal, turquoise, or dark green latex paint with water and apply with a brush. Allow to drip down, which gives it the rained on aged look. Start with a real watery mixture (10 parts water to 1 part paint) then experiment with heavier concentrations of paint for darker colors.
